We believe caring for people with disabilities means creating a fulfilling life.
From hydrotherapy sessions to BBQs and trips to the movies, we enable independence and fun.

Boredom isn’t good for the soul. That's why we have a strong focus on developing a meaningful lifestyle for our participants.
Our Care and Lifestyle team and disability support workers (DSWs) provide constant support and encouragement for participants to take part in daily activities and outings that are engaging, rewarding, and, most importantly, a lot of fun.
Working within the participant’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding, these everyday activities are tailored to the individual needs of the person you care about to help them build a sense of independence and community involvement.
As part of this, we help our residents and respite care participants to set and achieve personal milestones. That's because we know that even the smallest success can profoundly affect confidence and wellbeing.
We also encourage them to develop and maintain independent living and life skills, such as personal hygiene, dressing, cooking, and other household tasks, according to their individual abilities.
Activities
From a workout at the gym to a leisurely walk along the foreshore followed by coffee and cake, our participants can choose the tempo of their day.
Activities we offer include:
Visits to local and regional art galleries and museums + Local and regional festivals and events + Gym workouts + Music sessions + Gardening + Shopping centre visits + The movies + Ten pin bowling + Lawn bowls + Ferry, coach, and train trips + BBQs + Fishing
Can’t see an activity on the list? Let us know, and we'll do everything possible to make it happen.
Family members and carers, please note that all activities and community services are subject to the participant’s NDIS funding package.
We’re NDIS complex care providers
We’re a complex care provider. This means we can deliver tailored support to participants facing multiple and intricate challenges, including medical and personal. We have specialised equipment in our homes, and our team of highly trained support workers and leaders collaborate to address the unique needs of each participant. We also work with health care providers, dietitian services and occupational therapy professionals.
Meet our people
Our people are pretty special. With genuine compassion and respect for those people with disability in our care, which includes those with permanent disability and learning disabilities, they’re what set I Am Here apart as a disability services provider.
