All not-for-profit disability services need a Board of Management (BoM). Meet ours.
They’re responsible for ensuring all aspects of our service meet required governance standards.
I Am Here is a registered not-for-profit organisation caring for people with disability.
As an incorporated entity, the members of our not-for-profit and advocacy organisation must elect a board of Management (BoM) to act on its behalf. Our BoM has a chairperson, deputy chairperson and secretary. The people elected to these positions are office-bearers. Other BoM members are ordinary members.
As with many not-for-profit disability organisations, our BoM members are volunteers. They’re involved in the planning, management, and strategic decision-making of the organisation.
They’re responsible for all aspects of service delivery in accordance with the standards laid down by the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014.
