Each I Am Here home is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of disability support workers (DSWs) who assist with a range of support services, including personal care tasks. This includes an active overnight shift in each home.
Tasty, nutritious meals are prepared with resident and guest preferences in mind.
We have our own safe, reliable transport with experienced drivers who know our area intimately.
I Am Here is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered provider of disability accommodation in Newcastle, including respite care and supported independent living (SIL).

Our original support home
Set in a leafy, tranquil location down a quiet cul-de-sac in Elermore Vale, this five-bed respite house is just a 15-minute drive from Newcastle CBD. Elermore Vale shopping centre is a leisurely walk away.
Blackbutt Reserve and the John Hunter Hospital are also close by, with major shopping centres, Lake Macquarie, and the region's beautiful beaches and other scenic attractions, all within easy travelling distance.

This lovely suburban home is just a five-minute stroll from 18 Isabella Close, allowing residents and guests to visit, make new friends and enjoy each other's company. Up to three guests and residents can be accommodated in this peaceful setting.

A relaxing country estate
Our spacious eight-bedroom Federation-style home is located on a beautiful leafy acreage at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac off Lake Road, Wallsend. The serene surroundings offer our residents and guests a relaxed country-style environment close to the valley, city and coast, John Hunter Hospital, and major shopping centres.
